Are Telehealth sessions covered by my insurance?
Yes, medical insurance companies are paying for teletherapy sessions at this time, but it is wise to confirm that by simply calling the customer service phone # on the back of your insurance card. You also have the option to pay out of pocket for mental health services and I do offer sliding scale fees for those who are unemployed/furloughed due to the Covid-19 virus.
What do I need to do telehealth appointments?
Your computer, tablet or smartphone with a working microphone, speaker and a stable internet connection along with a private space from interruptions.
Are my appointments HIPAA complaint and who can you provide online teletherapy appointments for?
Yes, I use a 100% HIPAA compliant platform and I provide telehealth counseling for ages 4- 84 years old.
